“Prince & Princess” by JFJ - Official Music Video
Videographer/ Editor
We took almost 24 hours to finish this shooting of music video at multiple locations. This is a collaboration with the members of the band based in Taiwan. I was responsible for location scouting, storyboarding, videography, and editing in this video. Final Cut Pro, an iPhone, and a stabilizer were used in this project.
Storyline: A bunch of high school students at school as establishment shot. The main characters are the boy and the girl, who bump into each other in the hallway. This is their “meet cute“ to begin their dating journey. There are many memories of being shot during their dating relationship until the girl had a small affair caught by the main male character. The girl walked out alone as their breakup point, and the guy rode the scooter home alone. Eventually, the guy smashed their picture into pieces containing many memories. (The storyline was matched as the lyrics were written.)
“Fuck Love“- XXXTANTACION ft. Trippie Redd - Montage Project
Director/ Video Editor
I directed this video, a little montage project in Burbank, California. I conducted the storyboard, location scout, shot list, and all post-production. I collaborated with my film crew at the time and three actors.
Storyline: The montage story is surrounded by the man’s memory while he drinks, showing his sadness and complex relationship. The man was dating the Latina girl. Throughout their relationship, the Latina girl had another intimate relationship with another woman (Asian). However, the boyfriend secretly dates the Asian girl whom the Latina girl was dating simultaneously. One night, the Latina girl invited the Asian girl to come over to share some quality time but did not know the man would come over to her place.

This short reel was shot to enter the University of Waterloo GBDA Community Video Contest during COVID-19, and won first place.
This piece was shot in downtown Toronto to convey the girl who was alone and far away from her home, friends, and family. She did all her usual routine, taking the subway and walking on the streets until she saw the sweet couple on the road and thought it would be so good if she were not alone right now.

This was a collaborative project in the university with a group of four — a documentary about university students’ mental health.
This piece was shot in the Waterloo, ON area. We interviewed students from both the University of Waterloo and the Wilfrid Laurier University students about school life and how they think about mental health. Eventually, we interviewed a psychological program professor at the University of Waterloo about how important mental health is for everyone.
